In order to draw that same line 
at 8 bits per pixel, the RBV chip is responsible for pumping 8 times that information to the screen. This is over 5,000 bits of information in less than 1/30,000th of a second (that's a transfer rate of almost 19 megabytes per second).  ⌃ˇ∞
